Reflecting the antiquity of Native American sub-tribes, the beautiful and historical city of Parsippany-Troy hill is a place where winds from the river set in the beautiful valleys.  Parsippany is the township situated in Moris County, New Jersey, and is one of the most populated municipalities in the US.

The city has been entitled to the name ‘Tree City’ of the US for the past four decades demonstrating how the residents of the city value the significance of Mother Nature. The history of Parsippany-Troy Hill has inevitable imprints of distinct diverse cultures and communities. The city had been a home to Hopatcong, Rockawacks, Whippanong, and Parsippany’s – who lived there and left the signs of their indelible idiosyncrasies. The petroglyph of the town reflects the presence of these rich communities too.

Furthermore, the city marks the arrival of European settlers during the eighteenth century who invested in farming and forestry. Not only is this, the ornamental lakes of the city were also discovered by these settlers.

What stands out with all of these features is the journey of the city’s progress. Parsippany has paved its way to make it one of the best places to settle in the county.  The Arbor Day Foundation accredited the town for its consistent participation in the Tree City project. Plus, having participated in this project, the local team of the town won the little league World Series award in 2012.

Other than that, the existing local feel and the natural awe-inspiring wonders of Parsippany are some of the region’s biggest natural assets making it hard for the natives to leave their hometown.  As a suburb of New York City, Parsippany caters to all necessities of its residents. Housing is affordable prices and the locals live their lives to the absolute fullest.

Communities in Parsippany find their strength in togetherness and are always spirited to work for developing a healthy environment.  The culture of helping each other reflects in projects like ‘Be Stigma-Free’, which is a community development program that establishes objectives to eradicate stereotypes associated with mental disorder. The program runs awareness campaigns to support affected individuals and to achieve their wellness.

Parsippany is undeniably a land where you can experience a lot of recreational activities.  Covering an area of 800 acres, the park system of the town has altogether 31 parks nearly at the walking distance of all residential areas.

With glittering rivers, prominent mountains and lush green landscapes, places like Chief Hiawatha, The Cameron Dog Park, Druid Hill Park, and the Governor Livingston Park are the center of recreational activities at Parsippany.  Each of them has designated play areas for children, basketball, volleyball courts, and soccer fields.
